The 2013 budget proposal of Governor Sam Brownback for the Kansas Board of Regents includes “$800,000 for library research services and databases to be accessed by anyone across the state.” If appropriated, this funding would replace most of the database funding eliminated previously eliminated from the Kan-ed budget. As you talk with your legislators throughout the legislative session, please ask for their support for this funding.
