Participants in the NEKLS 2009 Bus Tour will gather in the parking lot of the Dillons at 6th and Wakarusa in Lawrence, Kansas, between 8 and 8:15 a.m. The bus will leave promptly at 8:30 for a whirlwind tour of 10 member libraries spanning five counties. Visit Linwood Community Library, DeSoto Library (branch of JCL), Bonner Springs City Library, Basehor Community Library, Lansing Community Library, Leavenworth Public Library, Atchison Public Library, Winchester Public Library, Oskaloosa Public Library, and Tonganoxie Public Library. Lunch will be served in Lansing at about 11:30, and the bus should arrive back at Dillons in Lawrence around 4 p.m. Cost of the tour is $15 and includes lunch and snacks. Space is limited and YOU MUST BE REGISTERED to attend. Call the NEKLS office at 785-838-4090 to get on board.
