Donations for Library Service

The Northeast Kansas Library Foundation’s purpose is to provide funding for library service through gifts and grants. What is the best way for you to to make a library donation?

1. Donations to your library: The best way to support library service is to make a donation directly to your local library. Contact the library; they may have a library foundation or Friends of the Library group to which donations should be made. However, donations directly to a public library are always tax-deductible charitable donations.

2. Donations for your library. Gifts and donations may also be made to the Northeast Kansas Library Foundation on behalf of the library of your choice. The Foundation will administer and invest those funds and transfer them to the library according to your donor wishes and the needs of the library.

3. Donations for the regional library system. If you have no local library or prefer to donate funds for the improvement of library service throughout Northeast Kansas region, you may make a donation to the Foundation for the support and improvement of the Northeast Kansas Library System. Donations to the Foundation should be made payable to “Northeast Kansas Library Foundation” and sent to:
