This year’s Fall Assembly will take place at the Holiday Inn – 200 McDonald Drive in Lawrence, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Gary Brunk, CEO and President of Kansas Action for Children, will deliver the keynote address, Becoming an Effective Advocate. Also on the agenda are presentations by Peter Haxton (State Data Center Coordinator, SLK) and Julie Mulvihill (Kansas Humanities Council); presentation of the NEKLS Volunteer of the Year award; discussion groups aimed at informing next year’s system plan; doorprizes and more. Cost for the program is $15, and includes a continental breakfast and hot lunch.
