We have seeing many changes in the NEKLS community: old friends leaving, new friends joining us, and even some familiar faces returning:
State Librarian Christie Brandau has retired, and a search is underway to fill that position.
Cathy Newland is retiring as Director of the Morrill Public Library in Hiawatha. Eric Gustafson is leaving the State Library of Kansas to become the new Director of the Morrill Public Library.
Diana Weaver has left the NEKLS staff to accept the position of Director of the Atchison Public Library.
Carolyn Little has become a full-time NEKLS employee with responsibility for coordination of the statewide courier service.
Thatcher Rea has joined the NEKLS staff as a part-time Technology Support specialist.
Brenda Hough will be rejoining the NEKLS staff on July 27th in the position of Continuing Education Consultant.
