Group Purchasing

NEKLS helps member libraries stretch their budgets by purchasing some common library supplies in bulk. Substantial savings from quantity discounts and reduced shipping are passed on when NEKLS provides these items at cost. Member Discounts Available Through LYRASIS

For several years, the State Library of Kansas has paid a statewide membership subscription so that all libraries in the state of Kansas could be members of BCR. BCR will no longer exist after July 31, 2010.

The State Library of Kansas has paid a membership fee on behalf of all libraries for the upcoming year and LYRASIS has agreed to accept the transfer of this.  This means that all libraries in Kansas are now members of LYRASIS. This membership entitles NEKLS libraries to discounts with the companies listed below.
