What is it?

In Fall 2010, NEKLS purchased a number of devices to be used for staff and patron training and programming.

The State Library of Kansas provides access to digital content, including eBooks and audiobooks, through Kansas EZ Library.  Patrons may access this content, provided contractually by 3M Cloud Library and Recorded Books One-Click Digital, using their Kansas Library Card, or local library card in some cases.

How do you borrow the Toy Box for your library staff’s use?

Contact Sharon Moreland, Technology Consultant, or other members of the Tech Team to schedule a demonstration of the Toy Box.  They are available to travel with the Toy Box for Staff in-service training or Technology Open Houses with patrons, Boards and/or staff.  You are also free to make an appointment with the Tech Team to ‘play with’ the Toy Box at the NEKLS office.

Policies

The Toy Box is intended for programming and staff development purposes.  When possible, individual pieces of the Toy Box can be checked out by libraries for in-house use.  The Toy Box is not available for check-out to patrons at this time.
