NEKLS Summer Reading Workshop

NEKLS Summer Reading Program is Wednesday, February 29th, at the Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library, 1515 SW 10th Ave., Topeka. Registration begins at 8:30, and the program will run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

This year’s keynote presenter is Marge Lochwouters. From 9 until noon, she will present a workshop titled Making YOUR Dreams Come True!

The afternoon will consist of Table Talks with lots of ideas for kick-off events, displays, programming, and more. Drawings for doorprizes – including Dream Big – READ! banners and stand-up displays – will take place throughout the afternoon.

Cost of the program is $20, and includes a continental breakfast and buffet lunch – featuring a lunchtime performance by 8 Silly Rabbits Magic.
