NEKLS Tech Day 2011

Dubbed “the explainer” by Wired magazine, Michael Wesch is a cultural anthropologist at Kansas State University exploring the effects of new media on society and culture.  Wesch will keynote NEKLS Tech Day on Tuesday, August 2, from 9 a.m to 4 p.m. at the Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library.  Tech Day will also feature several breakout sessions, networking breaks and lightning rounds.  Cost for the program is $20 for NEKLS members; $40 for non-members.  A continental breakfast and buffet lunch will be served.
