Libraries are invited to consider joining the other libraries participating in NExpress, the regional shared catalog of the Northeast Kansas Library System. Currently two additional libraries have committed to participation in 2010, bringing the total number of participants to 33 libraries. NEKLS will be requesting federal LSTA funds to pay part of the initial migration cost for public libraries. Other types of libraries are welcome to participate but are not eligible for those grant funds. Annual ongoing costs are on a sliding scale based on annual library budget, starting at $675 for libraries with budgets of less than $100,000.
