Don’t forget to participate in the Fall 2010 Snapshot Day that will be happening the week of November 14-November 20!

From the Snapshot Day website:

What’s life like on a typical day at your library? Wouldn’t you like to document just how busy and essential your library is? Here’s a way to do that with statistics, stories and pictures.

Join Kansas libraries and participate in SnapShot Day: A Day in the Life of a Kansas Library on November 14th – 20th. We plan to combine your SnapShot Day efforts with that of other libraries across the state to deliver a powerful message that underscores the impact of libraries on the quality of life in your community and across the state.

Several NEKLS libraries participated in the Spring Snapshot Day, and we hope that more will participate this time around. All types of libraries are invited to participate in this day. Check out who’s already signed up to participate! An online toolkit has been put together to help you with what you need to participate in Snapshot Day.

For questions about Snapshot Day please contact either Janie Rutherford and Peter Haxton at the State Library, or Barbara Bahm for school libraries and media centers.
