Summer Institute for School Librarians

The 14 Annual Kansas Summer Institute for School Librarians will explore New Tools for New Generations: Viable Tools for Effective Student Learning. Summer Institute will take place June 23rd-24th at Emporia State University (The Teachers College, Room 330). The doors open at 8:30 a.m., and the program begins at 9:00. Cost of the program is $100.

You may register online, but you must send a completed registration form with a school PO or check to Laura DeBaun at the NEKLS office in order to secure your place. Please make checks payable to Kansas Summer Institute for School librarians.

NOTE: One hour of graduate credit through Emporia University is available with additional application and payment. After registering for Summer Institute, you must also complete an ESU application form. Contact Katie Hill at khill1@emporia.edu for more information about obtaining graduate credit.
