I am pleased to announce that Heather Braum has been appointed Technical Support Technician for the Northeast Kansas Library System, effective April 16th. Heather is currently working as Network Analyst for the Shawnee Mission School District providing technical support to classroom teachers and technology centers. Heather has a long association with libraries and Northeast Kansas: she says she “grew up” in the Holton school library where her mother, Carol Braum, is High School Media Specialist. Heather in her second semester in the SLIM Library Science program at Emporia State University.
Heather’s primary responsibility will be providing telephone and onsite technical support for NEKLS libraries. Just as soon as Heather is on board and acclimated, Heather, Liz and Brenda will be organizing visits to NEKLS libraries to discuss your technical support needs.
