Sharon Moreland welcomed as NEKLS

Technology Consultant by Brenda Hough

The Northeast Kansas Library System is pleased to announce the appointment of  “one of our own,” Sharon Moreland, as Technology Consultant, effective June 9, 2008. Sharon is well known among NEKLS libraries for her leadership and creativity. Sharon has been the Director of the Tonganoxie Public Library since 2003, and has prior experience at the Kansas City, Missouri and North Kansas City Public Libraries.

As Technology Consultant, Sharon will lead NEKLS technology services and training; provide general training and consulting in coordination with Mickey Coalwell; and join the NExpress/Koha open source library automation team that includes Mickey Coalwell, Diana Weaver, Liz Rea, Heather Braum and Jim Minges.
