Mark your calendar and save the day–you won’t want to miss this energizing day of professional development. \nThis engaging session will bring together early childhood educators and library and museum professionals who work with families of children aged birth through Kindergarten and their families. \nThrough a combination of professional instruction and group interaction\, we will explore three key topics: \n\nEngineering and Empathy – helping young children explore STEM concepts\nMind in the Making – promoting and practicing executive function life skills\nFamily Engagement – best practices\, given a pandemic\n\nHere is the day’s agenda \nFor a sneak peek of our facilitator\, Beth Fredericks\, view this short video: “Just Enough Engagement”. \nCost: $20\, includes content\, handouts\, refreshments and lunch. \nPay in cash at the door.
