DESCRIPTION:Please see this webpage for the most current and complete Budget Hearing information: https://www.nekls.org/2023-budget-hearing-and-annual-meeting/ \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Northeast Kansas Library System will hold a Budget Hearing at 10 a.m. on Thursday\, August 10\, 2023 as part of its Annual Meeting. Because the Executive Board is proposing a 2024 budget that does not exceed the Revenue Neutral Rate\, there will be no Revenue Neutral Rate hearing this year. \n\n\n\nIn addition to considering and approving the 2024 System Budget during the Annual Meeting\, the System Board will also vote to elect executive board members. \n\n\n\nAttendance for both the hearing and annual meeting may be online or in-person at 4317 W. 6th Street\, Lawrence Ks. Online attendance is encouraged\, as the NEKLS training room has limited capacity. \n\n\n\nVoting System Board representatives can use this link to register and attend over Zoom: https://kslib.zoom.us/meeting/register/tJUtceGurD8uG9E1pMdA0ODibq9Saz3z6uW_ \n\n\n\nNon-voting members of the public may watch the hearing live on YouTube: https://youtube.com/live/TDV2d6NxdN0?feature=share \n\n\n\n(Please note: if you are a non-voting member\, but you wish to make a public comment\, you may attend in-person\, at the NEKLS office\, or register to attend over Zoom.
