NEKLS Summer Reading Workshop – Tuesday, Feb. 23rd, 9 am – 3:30
pm, at the Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library (1515 SW 10th Ave., Topeka).
Patti Sinclair, editor of the 2010 CSLP Manual, will lead an interactive session in the morning. Afternoon sessions include a book talk by Susan Bryant (Morrill Public Library), a programming idea session with Erica Voell (Bonner Springs City Library), and a performance and presentation by Linda Chubbuck and Stan Slaughter, creators of this year’s SLK-funded CD Water All Over the World.
Cost of the workshop is $15 for NEKLS members; $30 for non-members and includes handouts, a light breakfast, and a hot lunch buffet.
