Become a better board member! Join us for a session on Tech Savvy Trustees, presented by Bonnie McKewon, Consultant for the State Library of Iowa. In this interactive session, you will learn how to access excellent e-resources from your library. You will also come away with a sense of your library’s technology needs and ideas on how to advocate for more (and better!) technology resources for your library.
Topics will include:
Sharpening Your Tech Savvy Tools
Connecting Tech with Your Trustee Tasks
Using Library e-books, e-magazines, downloadable audios, and e-research sources
Every public library trustee and director is eligible and encouraged to attend any of the three sessions. All sessions will include a light meal. There is no cost to attend.
Thursday, June 15, Overbrook Library; meal at 5:30, program 6-8pm
Friday, June 16, Penny’s Coffee House in Holton, meal at 12:30, program 1-3pm
Saturday, June 17, DoubleTree Hotel in Lawrence, meal at 8:30, program 9-11am
