This year’s workshop will focus on ethics, featuring a discussion of various ethical situations your library board may face. Learn from the experiences of other libraries and leave feeling prepared to respond to problems and take action in a fair and thoughtful way. Sessions will be highly interactive, so bring your questions and come prepared for a lively discussion.

This evening’s workshop will take place from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Winchester Community Center (411 Spruce St., Winchester, Kansas 66097). There is no charge, and supper will be provided.

The workshop will be offered at other locations Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday of this week. See calendar for details.

Attendance at this workshop will qualify for the Kansas Library Trustee Certification Program. It also satisfies the NEKLS accreditation requirement that library board members attend at least one continuing education activity each year.

There are many ways to register. You can submit a registration form by fax, courier, or mail; register online; or contact Teri Nelson at the NEKLS office [tnelson@nekls.org or 785-838-4090].
