  • 9:00 – Workshop
  • 3:30 – Prize drawings – you must be present to win!

Participants are encouraged, but not required, to bring favorite ideas from the CSLP manual to share.

How

$10 includes lunch and snacks through the say, plus tons of great content!

Pay by cash, check, or credit card at the event. To pay in advance: mail a check to the NEKLS office, or call NEKLS with your credit card number.

Breakout EDU is a platform for immersive learning games www.breakoutedu.com . Essentially, it’s a breakout room in a box, and has been used successfully in schools and libraries with learners of all ages. Today Emily Gansel and Kelly Nordberg from Wamego Public Library will introduce us to the game, and lead is in a Build A Better World breakout session.

Learn & Play Bus from Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library http://www.tscpl.org is a 40 foot long learning center. Billed as “Your child’s free mobile preschool”, the bus will be available for tours for participants. We’ll also have a brief talk from TSCPL staff about ways libraries of all sizes can use the principles and interior furnishings of the bus in their communities.
